First Family Photo

As near as I know, this is the first family photo of the Darrell and Edna Eborn family. Of course, the family was not complete and the photo was really just a snapshot, but it tells volumes about them and how they lived etc. Would any of you care to share your earliest memories of Mom and Dad/Grandma and Grandpa from their early married life as you can recall or have been told? I'd love to hear of your memories and I'm sure others would as well.

  1. I don't recall seeing that picture before. The little old house in the background was owned by Clifford King. His wife had died and he lived with a daughter named Coleen. He was a kind, gentle person and because there was no to care for his daughter he moved to Montpelier where he worked. I can't remember his wifes name but she was from Liberty and was a childhood friend of Mother.

  2. The home in the background was later occupied by John and Elsie Roberts and their family. They lived there during most of time I was growing up. The home we lived in was much like it (very rustic, with just two rooms) I was born in that house and we stayed there until 1946 when Nina was born. I have many memories of this place.
